About Campus

Truman State University is Missouri’s one and only public liberal arts university. Originally founded as in 1867, the university began its life as a teachers college. In 1985, the university officially adopted its liberal arts mission and received its current name in 1996. Truman has previously hosted MACURH’s Regional Business Conference, but this will be the first time the Regional Leadership Conference has ever been held at Truman.

Registration

Registration will open on Tuesday, September 2 and will close Friday, October 3. Late registration will begin Saturday, October 4 and close Friday, October 10 at 10:00 P.M. CST for an additional fee of $25. The price per delegate and delegate cap will be announced prior to registration opening. The option to swap delegates will be open until Tuesday, October 14.

Delegate Caps

Delegate Price & Cap

Delegate Double - $245

Advisor Double - $245

Advisor Single - $255

We are also excited to announce that there will be no delegate cap for institutions that complete their institutional registration prior to October 3rd when registration closes. Institutions that register late will be capped at 5 delegates, including an advisor.

Alternate Delegates

If a delegate can no longer attend the conference and needs to be replaced by another delegate, the institution can communicate with conference staff at ma_rlc@nacurh.org until October 10, 2025 to get updated materials for the new delegate. Delegates may be swapped after this deadline but must match the gender identity of the original delegate and will not be guaranteed updated materials (T-Shirt size, special meals for dietary accommodations, etc.). In the case that an institution brings a delegate swap without prior notice, the new delegate will have to fill out the registration form and waivers at check-in and will not receive updated materials.

What is covered by registration?

The registration fee covers housing from the time of check-in on Friday, October 24th to the time of check-out on Sunday, October 26th. Registration also includes meals (dinner on Friday; breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday; breakfast on Sunday), as well as all conference programming and activities.

SPIRIT INFORMATION

Information on conference spirit can be found in the RLC 2025 Spirit Guide! Photos can be submitted for spirit points in the conference Discord.

Conference Information

Communications and Security

Discord will be utilized as the one and only conference app for RLC 2025. It is highly recommended that all attendees join the Discord to participate in spirit and receive conference updates. All conference communication will be through Discord rather than email during the course of the conference.

Safety Information

Please contact the RA on Duty at 660-341-8641 for any lock outs, facilities concerns, or related issues in Centennial Hall. Truman's Department of Public Safety can be reached at 660-665-5621. Housing & Check-In

Housing

Delegations will be housed in Centennial Hall, one of our on-campus residence halls. Rooms are semi-suite style and share a bathroom with an adjoining room. Each delegate and advisor will be provided with their own bed during the course of the conference. Linens are not provided.

Check-In

Check-In for RLC 2025 will be from 2:30-5:00pm Friday, October 24 in the Centennial Hall conference room. Each delegation should send one advisor and their NCC (or equivalent) to retrieve keys and other conference materials for their delegation. The rest of the delegation is welcome to hang out in the main lounge or peruse the Farmers Market (Regional Store) while they wait.

Parking

Institutions do not need to acquire a parking pass or worry about parking in specific lots. We recommend parking next to or directly behind Centennial Hall but institutions are welcome to park anywhere on campus during the conference.
